The crop 'kale' belongs to 'Brassica oleracea convar. acephala' and is (again) subject to registration in the Netherlands.
NB: the crop 'kale' in the EU common catalogue only concerns 'kale' and not the other kales.

Please take these submission requirements into account when submitting applications for registration/plant breeders rights in the Netherlands:
Application deadline: 1 May
Deadline for submitting identity material: 15 May
Amount of material to be submitted: 5.000 seeds

Update NRR (Dutch Variety Register)
Great news! The previously reported technical issues with the NRR (Dutch Variety Register) have now been resolved. You can once again use the register as you are accustomed to. Unfortunately, the field "prolongation requested" is currently missing in the NRR. This will be fixed.
