New! Apply online for listing and Plant Breeder's Rights in the Netherlands

You can apply for listing and Plant Breeder's Rights in the Netherlands via the CPVO module. The module is self-explanatory, step by step you will be guided through the module.

A lower application fee applies for online submission

We charge a lower application fee, as we can process online applications more efficiently. The online submitted applications for the Netherlands are automatically imported from the CPVO module into our own database. That saves time. This is also an advantage for you as applicant.

The application fee for an online application for vegetables and ornamental crops is € 300.00 per application and for an agricultural crop this is

€ 450.00 per application.

The Technical Questionnaires (TQs) of 15 crops are ready

For the following crops you can already submit an online application: potato, gherkin / cucumber, alstroemeria, Celery/Celeriac, Cauliflower, marrow, pea, freesia, lily, melon, pepper, phalaenopsis, lettuce, spinach, tomato, tulip, onion, watermelon and carrot.

The TQs of other crops will follow on short notice. We will inform you about this via the newsletters and via this website

With your experience we want to improve the online system

Have you already submitted an online application for the Netherlands and do you have questions or remarks for us? Please inform us about your experiences or suggestions for improvement. Then we can verify how to adjust or improve the online system.
